The reason is that if you go to Godaddy.com and type a keyword rich name to see if it is available and you realize that, if not buy right then and there will GoDaddy. They have done this to me several times and is really aggravating. If you do not believe me, click through and visit Godaddy.com and run a check to see if a domain name have in mind is available, do not buy it, and try it again in 3 to 10 days. You'll see it out and if you do a whois search on it, you'll see that GoDaddy broke themselves. Now do not get me wrong, I do not mean that GoDaddy is not a good company at all. I love and have more than 450 names registered through them. I'm just emphasizing that they will snag your precious name area, if you follow my steps.
